Carmen "Titita’s" work and dedication resulted in that over the course of more than thirty years, El Bajío de Cuitlahuac yielded enough benefits to support her five children, and it was not until 2006 and 2007 when, together with her children and other partners, she opened five El Bajío restaurants, in Parque Delta, Polanco, Parque Lindavista, Reforma 222 and Parque Tezontle. Since then, she has opened 10 more restaurants in different Mexico City locations.

Each of our sixteen units respects the same philosophy and the same seasoning, this is our main reason for being and for continuing to grow, to cook with love and serve with passion the traditional Mexican cuisine.
